6:89

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحُكْمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًا لَّيْسُوا۟ بِهَا بِكَٰفِرِينَ

Why this meaning was chosen

Quran-internal core tested across all 70 family occurrences and targets. Active Form II places a community in charge of revelation, while its passive places the angel of death in charge of people. Form V consistently places the actor's reliance upon Allah, and its participle names those who do so. وَكِيل names the one carrying a charge, whether Allah is sufficient over all things or a messenger and other possible agents are denied that role.
