Why this meaning was chosen
Reviewed all five frozen occurrences on the complete 100-item page. There are no protected meanings, compacted proposals, failure candidates, or aligned witness variants on the target rows. Four Form III occurrences describe leaving a river, sea, or meeting point behind through passage. The Form VI construction with عن applies the same boundary-crossing relation evaluatively: bad deeds are passed over rather than held against their doers.
