Why this meaning was chosen

The punishment occurrence places the affected people inside the Fire and supports furnace-like stoking. Both remaining occurrences concern the sea: one describes it as masjūr and one announces that the seas will be sujjirat. The Quran-internal contexts establish intensified charging but do not independently decide whether the sea image foregrounds filling, ignition, or eruptive overflow.
