وَلَا تُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلسُّفَهَآءَ أَمْوَٰلَكُمُ ٱلَّتِى جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ قِيَٰمًا وَٱرْزُقُوهُمْ فِيهَا وَٱكْسُوهُمْ وَقُولُوا۟ لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوفًا

Why this meaning was chosen

Quran-internal review covered all five occurrences. The noun names clothing owed or supplied to people, the human-directed imperative commands provision of that covering, and two creation passages use the verb for flesh laid around bones.
