Why this meaning was chosen

All 48 family occurrences were reviewed across three bounded pages. The compacted noun-only proposal was reconciled with the whole root family: Quran 6:120 links earning the offense with recompense, 2:283 applies the active participle to a heart that conceals testimony, and 68:12 places the intensive descriptor among repeated traits. The two Form II verbal nouns occur beside idle speech in 52:23 and 56:25; all seven aligned witnesses preserve the same lexical form and construction. The result noun أَثَام in 25:68 is provisionally rendered as the encountered requital of offense because 25:69 immediately describes doubled punishment; that localized question is retained for user review rather than promoted to an accepted distinction.
