Why this meaning was chosen

Quran-internal review covered all three occurrences of the masculine plural Form IV participle مُهْطِعِين. In 14:43 the judged move with heads raised, unreturning gaze, and empty hearts; in 54:8 they move toward the caller on a difficult day; in 70:36 the disbelievers are directed toward the messenger. Directional complements and the bodily-attention details converge on urgent, intent movement toward a focus. The identical participial form supports one rendering. The aligned-reading field supplies no variant requiring a separate rule; no protected meaning was edited and no exact lexical collision was found.
