Why this meaning was chosen

All 12 occurrences support confinement. The Joseph narrative supplies the act, the confined person, the bounded place entered and exited, and the duration spent within it; Pharaoh likewise threatens to make Moses one of the confined. The intensive سِجِّين receives the wicked record and is then introduced by an explanatory question, but the following syntax leaves whether it names a place, register, or state unresolved. It therefore remains a same-core intensive profile with an explicit review question, not an asserted collision. No aligned reading divergence is present.
