قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ

Why this meaning was chosen

Form II assigns or passively bears responsibility, repeatedly bounded by a person's capacity or what God has given. The single Form V agent noun is denied by the Prophet after he disclaims payment, characterizing self-assumed strained pretense.
