Why this meaning was chosen

Quran-internal review covered both occurrences of the proper name سَبَإ. In 27:22 the hoopoe reports coming from Sheba with certain news, followed by the account of a woman ruling its people; in 34:15 Sheba has a sign in its dwelling, two gardens and a good land, before the narrative of its ingratitude. Place-of-origin and communal-dwelling constructions converge on one named land-community referent. The identical genitive form supports one rendering. The aligned-reading field supplies no variant requiring a separate rule; no protected meaning was edited and no exact lexical collision was found.
