20:133

وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا يَأْتِينَا بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓ أَوَلَمْ تَأْتِهِم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ

43:71

يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ ٱلْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

53:36

أَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِى صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

74:52

بَلْ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَن يُؤْتَىٰ صُحُفًا مُّنَشَّرَةً

80:13

فِى صُحُفٍ مُّكَرَّمَةٍ

81:10

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ

87:18

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ

صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ

98:2

رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً

Why this meaning was chosen

All nine occurrences were inspected on one bounded page. Eight صحف forms are written sheets associated with earlier revelation, recitation, honoring, purification, distribution, and opening. The single صحاف form carries food as golden platters. The carried content differs while a broad presenting surface remains constant.
