25:5

وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٱكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا

Why this meaning was chosen

All ten family occurrences were reviewed on one bounded page; every occurrence is a frozen target, with no protected records or compacted candidates. Seven active Form-IV verbs with a beneficiary construction describe God allowing disbelievers, wrongdoers, or a town more time before seizure or increased sin. One active Form-IV verb follows Satan's enticement and presents him as extending expectation for apostates. The accusative مَلِيًّا specifies a long while for Abraham's withdrawal. One passive Form-IV verb describes alleged ancient stories being dictated to the Messenger morning and evening. Tense, person, voice, beneficiary, temporal adverbial use, and contextual object compose within their sets. Quran-internal substitution fails exactly at 25:5: written stories can be dictated at recurring times but cannot be the people granted time before seizure, while people granted respite are not textual material recited for transcription. The dictation use is therefore a lexical-collision branch. No aligned reading payload or unresolved issue remains.
